Com provar un carregador de goteig
Els carregadors de goteig s'utilitzen per carregar de manera segura bateries d'automòbils i altres. Els carregadors tenen almenys un metre com a part dels controls. Els comptadors poden indicar la quantitat d'amperatge que flueix del carregador a la bateria (amperímetre) i la tensió subministrada per la bateria (voltímetre). Utilitzeu aquests mesuradors per provar el carregador de goteig.
Pas 1
Connect the trickle charger to the battery and monitor any gauges on the trickle charger. Look for identifying labels such as "Ammeter" and "Voltmeter."
Pas 2
Read the setting on the ammeter. There may be a gradated scale on the meter. This meter indicates that the trickle charger is sending power to the battery and that the trickle charger works. Indications such as "Charge" mean the trickle charger is sending low, safe amps to the battery. "Start" is found on combination trickle chargers/vehicle starters and indicates high amps are being sent. In any case, any movement in the ammeter needle from zero indicates the charger is working.
Mireu el voltímetre. Us indicarà quants volts hi ha disponibles a la bateria. El moviment d'aquesta agulla al llarg del temps indica que el carregador de goteig està fent la seva feina. Per exemple, si el voltímetre mostra 6v al principi del dia i 12v al final, saps que s'ha produït la càrrega. Els voltímetres solen funcionar tant si el carregador està encès o apagat.
